# Suppliers by Business Classification
The Suppliers by Business Classification report provides a chart that summarizes the number of suppliers available within each business classification. Suppliers are included even if they have never been invited to a request for quote event. A supplier's business classification is determined by the Fairmarkit business classification or a Supplier.io diversity tag. Suppliers can be assigned to more than one business classification.
**Note**: The Supplier Diversity dashboard filters will not update this report.
