# Auto-sending

Based on a customizable schedule and recommendation criteria, Fairmarkit matches suppliers to your request for quote events and sends your events to suppliers for you. With auto-sending, you'll have more time to focus on more complex events, and together with auto-bundling , you can create attractive and efficient events for suppliers. You can select to award events for specific buyers or across your entire company.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Important**: Auto-sending is available for [integrated](/buyers/integrations.md) Fairmarkit users. Please contact your Fairmarkit Customer Success Representative if you are interested in using automated sending.
{% endhint %}

### Overview <a href="#overview" id="overview"></a>

Auto-sending uses your recommendation criteria to compare supplier recommendations and automatically invite the best suppliers for your event.

Based on your criteria, Fairmarkit scans your event's supplier recommendations and finds the best matches. Events must be in draft status and meet a specific supplier recommendation confidence criteria to be included. Only events created via integrations are eligible. You will need to send any manually created events manually. Once sent, the event will move to Open status.

**Note**: Any events that do not meet the auto-sending rules and cannot be automatically sent are held in Draft status and labeled for manual review.

### Benefits <a href="#benefits" id="benefits"></a>

You can benefit from auto-sending in the following ways:

* Save time by not having to select suppliers and send your events manually.
* Be more consistent in inviting suppliers to events.

### Would auto-sending help me? <a href="#wouldautosendinghelpme" id="wouldautosendinghelpme"></a>

The following make you a good candidate for auto-sending:

* **Integration**: Your events are created via Fairmarkit integration.
* **Volume**: You have at least 100 events awarded via Fairmarkit in the past 3 months
* **Supplier recommendations**: You've used supplier recommendations on at least 50% of your events.

### Configuration options <a href="#configurationoptions" id="configurationoptions"></a>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note**: To set or update your configuration options, contact your Fairmarkit Customer Success Representative.
{% endhint %}

Auto-sending includes the following configuration options:

* **Levels**: Select if you want to enable auto-sending for your entire company or an individual buyer.
* **Schedule**: Set your schedule based on the time of day and frequency you send events. For example, You can set up the schedule to coincide with auto-bundling or set it to ensure that new requests are sent out to suppliers quickly to ensure a fast turnaround time on sourcing requests.
* **Supplier recommendation criteria**: Define the criteria that an event must meet before it can automatically be sent.
  * **Minimum number of suppliers required for automated sending**: Set the minimum number of suppliers needed to send an event. This setting ensures that you are competitively sourcing the event. For example, if Fairmarkit identifies one or two good supplier candidates, you can manually review the event and add suppliers to ensure that you have the necessary number of suppliers invited (e.g., 3+).
  * **Minimum individual supplier confidence**: Set the lowest confidence score accepted to invite a supplier to the event. This setting checks that you're only sending the event to suppliers who are likely to respond and not needlessly sending invites to suppliers who do not match with the event.
  * **Minimum cumulative supplier confidence**: Set the lowest total confidence score across all suppliers accepted to send an event. This setting checks that events are only sent when the probability is low that you'll receive zero responses and have to rework the event.
