Types of integrations

Your integration may be through a Fairmarkitpre-built integration with your purchasing application or a generic integration using the Fairmarkit API or flat files.

Pre-built integrations

Fairmarkit has robust, standardized API integrations with popular purchasing applications to minimize your IT resources required for connectivity.

The following purchasing applications are supported:

Generic integrations

With Fairmarkit generic integrations, you can use the Fairmarkit APIor the flat files to share data between your purchasing application and Fairmarkit.

Key integration points

Depending on your type of integration, data may be shared in the following ways:

Purchase requisition import

Adapting to your workflows, Fairmarkit can intercept a purchase requisition from your purchasing application and create a request for quote event. Typically, draft requisitions are imported, but requisitions in other statues can be also imported. Additionally, Fairmarkit can scan your purchasing application and pull requisitions based on selection criteria.

Purchase requisition export

When a request for quote event moves to certain statues, the related data is sent to your purchasing application.

Export is available when an event moves to the following statues:

  • Open

  • Awarded / Partially Awarded

  • Canceled / Archived

Data sync

For select data, you can set up a sync between your purchasing application and Fairmarkit.

Data syncs are available for the following:

  • Suppliers

  • Purchase orders

  • Inventory
