# SAP Ariba integration

SAP Ariba is a procurement and supply chain collaboration software. With the SAP Ariba integration, you can sync your purchase requisitions data with Fairmarkit. With purchase requisition sync, your purchase requisitions are imported into Fairmarkit, creating request for quote events. Once you award an event, Fairmarkit sends the awarded data back to SAP Ariba to update your purchase requisition. In addition, you can manually upload or scheduled to upload batches of supplier data.

Important: Before using the integration, you'll need to complete the prerequisite setup in SAP Ariba. [For more information, see Setup in SAP Ariba.](/buyers/integrations/sap-ariba-integration/setup-in-sap-ariba.md)

### Overview <a href="#overview" id="overview"></a>
