# Setup for SAP S/4HANA integration

For your integration between SAP S/4HANA and Fairmarkit, you will need to complete some configuration in SAP S/4HANA.

Note: Specific naming may vary based on your system. The following naming is provided as an example during the process.

### Connect your system <a href="#connectyoursystem" id="connectyoursystem"></a>

When connecting for an on-premise integration, we will need to connect to your system.

* **With VPN**: Complete the [*Fairmarkit VPN Request*](https://drive.google.com/file/d/19Xlgtp_Oyarv3lhMV82188rHa_2pPlB8/view?usp=sharing) form and submit it to your Fairmarkit Customer Success Manager.
* **Without VPN**: If you are not connecting through a VPN, you will need to whitelist our public IPs, which include the following:

### Create REMOTE\_FAIRM user <a href="#createremotefairmuser" id="createremotefairmuser"></a>

You will need to create a user with the following authorizations:
