# New close date email (RFP/RFI)

When a buyer updates the close date on a request for proposal (RFP) or request for information (RFI) event, you'll receive an email notification with the new date.

### Email subject <a href="#emailsubject" id="emailsubject"></a>

The email subject will be:

* ((Buyer company name)) Request for Proposal - Close Date extended (Requisition #------)\
  example: *(AM Productions) Request for Proposal - Close Date extended (Requisition #136970)*

### Email content <a href="#emailcontent" id="emailcontent"></a>

The email includes:

* Buyer company name
* Event details\
  (Original close date and time, new close date and time, supplier name, proposal ID, event ID, event title)
* Link to event
* Link to decline the event
